Taught by Kirsty Powers, our Junior Art Encounters program offers young children the opportunity to learn creative skills that will establish a foundation in the ability to draw, paint and create, which can be built upon as they develop and mature.
Class sizes are strictly limited, and have an atmosphere that is fun, gentle and structured with a beginning, middle and end to each process so that students learn not only about art, but about effort and consistency.
In today’s society of immediate technological gratification, we endeavour to make the pursuit of excellent outcomes a fun and rewarding task within the age expectations of our programs. For an outline of the projects throughout the term, please have a read through the following course information sheet; keep in mind that images are a reference only, and may not reflect the final outcome of the project.
While children as young as five are welcome in the junior program, we encourage you to assess whether your child is ready for a new learning environment that requires independence and concentration. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure and we can discuss where your budding artist is at.
Before confirming your booking, please read the terms and conditions on our check out page thoroughly as we do not offer refunds, credits or transfers.
