Taught by Brock Q. Piper, one of our leading Art Encounters tutors, this exciting program offers young artists aged between 10 – 14 years the opportunity to develop a range of drawing and illustration skills that will foster their creativity and bring the page to life.

Throughout the term students will experiment with a range of mediums including pencil, charcoal, ink and watercolour, to each create a unique series of observational illustrations depicting themes from still life to portraiture. Classes concentrate highly on helping students learn how to focus on and commit to the various skill processes that are introduced throughout the term. In today’s society of immediate technological gratification, we endeavour to make the pursuit of excellent outcomes a fun and rewarding task.
