Co-tutored by Michelle Molinari and Anita Lester, this course is open to high school aged students who are interested in developing their artistic abilities within a relaxed and open atmosphere, conducive to the complex nature of the age group, while at the same time emphasising that a consistent work ethic is the foundation for gaining good results.
In today’s society of immediate technological gratification, the process of art making provides students with an alternative creative outlet, and we endeavour to make the pursuit of excellent outcomes a fun and rewarding task within the age expectations of our programs. Throughout the term the classes will primarily focus on the theme of botanical illustration, allowing each student to explore in-depth the mediums of pencil, ink and watercolour, to render two major outcomes as well as a number of supporting studies.
Please note that students are required to bring or purchase their own materials for this course, which includes an A4 Visual Art Diary and a Drawing Essentials Kit (which comes with a variety of graphite and pencils, and an eraser and sharpener). The items are priced with a 50% student discount and can be added to your booking via the link below and picked up at the beginning of the first class. If students don’t require both items, they can also be individually purchased in person at the studio.
Before confirming your booking, please read our terms and conditions thoroughly as we are unable to offer refunds, credits or transfers.
