Art Encounters offer several art programs for kids and teens that enjoy expressing their creativity through painting and drawing.
Our classes are buzzing with lively conversation and children are positively radiating with exciting energy as they learn and create their own artworks.
Students receive plenty of one to one guidance, practical instruction and creative projects to practise and improve their skills from our highly qualified and passionate tutors.
Our tutors are great with kids, infusing lessons with their energetic passion and knowledge - students will find the enthusiasm irresistible, fun and inspiring.
Classes are held in a light filled studio setting with easels, big wooden tables, paints, charcoals and brushes to create their art projects. The stimulating environment of a proper art studio provides a wonderful backdrop for kids to develop and express their creativity freely.

Curriculum
Art Encounter’s curriculum follows the same structure as general school curriculums with 4 terms per year.
Each term is dedicated to a specific subject and class lessons are developed according to each course and the age or artistic level of the students.
We also run an Open Workshop For Young Artists program that caters for 8 to 16 year olds. These programs are less formal in structure allowing the students more freedom to do their own thing.

Teachers
Art Encounters employs fully qualified teachers who have completed a degree in fine arts at a leading institute. It is our preference that all of our teachers also have a serious art practice of their own to be an example to the students. We also employ assistant teachers who are currently studying fine arts and have experience dealing with children. All of our teachers have a current police check and license to work with children.
We maintain a good teacher to student ratio of 1:12 with a class size maximum of 20 students in which case we will employ 2 teachers and an assistant to ensure that all children get adequate attention.
Our teachers are passionate about passing their own skills onto the younger generation of people who are interested in pursuing fine arts. Art Encounters is fully committed to its teachers ensuring that they enjoy teaching as much as our students enjoy learning.
