Enjoy the unique opportunity to live, breathe and create within an artist’s studio where you will explore the many facets of painting and drawing techniques. Classes will cover methods and materials, procedures, practices and protocols of painting and drawing.

Melbourne Studio of Art has classes for the absolute beginner as well as those who have advanced painting and drawing abilities. We firmly believe that anyone can learn to paint and draw and that you don’t require any special talent, all you really need is passion.
Our dedicated tutors are experienced and highly skilled practising artists who are passionate about teaching and passing their knowledge onto students and emerging artists. All tutors have a solid background in traditional and contemporary art and as practising artists, are aware of the current trends and technologies in contemporary art practise.
We take our art making seriously so that you get a good grounding and understanding of the techniques needed to paint and draw well.
