Corporate Programs
Art Encounters has over the years developed an excellent program for the development of creativity in groups of people who work in the corporate environment. Concentrating on moving participants towards the release of a "right brain" experience, our projects are designed to expose people to an alternate way of perceiving which uses observation, intuition and emotion.
Each participant creates an individual piece of work that can later be combined into a group painting to be exhibited in the work space. The group painting or drawing, will remind staff how to use a wider range of thinking which may enhance their work practices.
If appropriate your business can elect to have a facilitator who can analyze the personalities and qualities of your staff through the way they approach creative exercises. This is what makes our corporate programs unique, personal and above all fun and humorous.

Workshop Structures
We design each workshop individually for your business according to the nature of your group and its participants. We are very happy to hold the workshops at our Studio in South Caulfield but can also arrange to run them at your premises or any external venue.
We run 2 hour, 3 hour and full day programs. Art Encounters can also supply an array of snack foods, wines and drinks for your program.

Workshop Costs
Pre Christmas Team Experience Specials
- Fully tutored 2 hour life drawing class
- Glass of Red Wine on arrival
- Coffee, tea and cake.
- Nude model (male or female)
- All art materials.
Life Drawing for Beginners - $89 per person *
Fancy your team playing Picasso at an easel, glass of red wine in one hand, charcoal in the other- nude life model striking poses. Participants not only learn about how skin and muscle actually hangs on a frame of bones, but have a good shot at drawing the body with the instruction of one of our qualified and experienced master teachers.
Workshop includes:
* Minimum payment is for ten participants. Prices do not include GST. Workshop prices are for workshops run in December 2008 only.
*Prices normally $1200 for the first 10 participants and $90 per person thereafter.
Unleashing the Artist Within - $119 per person *
Get your team to find their raw artistic language in this 3 hour workshop run by Dena Lester, the Director of Art Encounters. Through making spontaneous marks, shapes and textures this process reveals the personality and team qualities of each participant. This leads to an interesting end of class analysis where people are shown how visual language can express obvious aspects of each participants personality. Many a company team have been inspired, humoured and suprised at the power of this great experience.
Each participant leaves this workshop with a work on canvas that can be optionally compiled into a group artwork for the office space.
Workshop includes:
- Fully tutored 3 hour painting workshop
- Glass of Red Wine on arrival
- Coffee, tea and cake.
- All art materials.
* Minimum payment is for ten participants. Prices do not include GST. Workshop prices are for workshops run in December 2008 only. Installation of artwork into an office space at extra cost.
*Prices normally $1850 for the first 10 participants and $120 per person thereafter.
